The EcoHome Design Awards honor the best sustainable homes for innovative design, green building features, environmental performance, and integration with their sites and communities. The program receives in-depth editorial coverage in EcoHome (print and online) in July/August, and winners are honored at the Builder's Choice dinner in October. Hanley Award for Vision and Leadership in Sustainable Housing

Sponsored by BUILDER, EcoHome and The Hanley Foundation, this annual award honors outstanding individuals who have demonstrated an unusually significant commitment and contribution to sustainability in residential construction. Vision 2020

In 2012, EcoHome is launching Vision 2020, a year-long editorial odyssey that will engage the best creative minds, explore the most insightful research, and uncover the greatest technological innovations to help us understand our path towards sustainability, and carry us forward in our common mission between now and 2020.

EcoHome editors will convene the most-trusted thought leaders in sustainability and environmental building, and share their research, projects, and projections with our green building colleagues and constituencies — in print and online. And through the powerful reach of EcoHome’s website, newsletter, and social media communities, we’ll bring a broad range of perspectives from our audience into the conversation — expanding the scope of expertise, experience, and perspectives from around the industry and around the world, that will shape the Vision 2020 dialogue, and ultimately its conclusions.
